One Pillar Pagoda

The map below shows the direction from Hanoi Gratitude Hotel to One Pillar Pagoda and From One Pillar Pagoda to Thang Long Citadel.   Take note of the entrance of the Thang Long Citadel (marked with an X).  We did not know the entrance when we visited and walked a whole big round up north the Presidential Palace as we are not allowed to do a shortcut from Ba Dinh Square to get to Thang Long Citadel.

An Imperial Fortress from the 11th century - a UNESCO world heritage site 
Entrance fee is 30K VND per person (free for children under age of 15)
Opening Hours : 8am-5pm (Closed on Mondays)
