2016 30 November Day 2 (Part 2 - Golden Waterfall & Jiufen Old Street )
The water which flows down the mountain from the abandoned mineral processing plant is particularly toxic. It is yellow hue due to the copper and iron deposits as it comes through the old Jinhuashi mines.
It was crowded here at Jiufen . We saw many tourists, local students on graduation vacation, and overseas student groups (Japanese).
I guess this must be the Keelung Mountain that I had initially planned to climb.. See the two shelters up there ?
Back to Jiufen Old Street.....
