May is generally the start of the south west monsoon season which goes through until October.
We stayed at The Park Surin Serviced Apartments near to Surin Beach. Not many eateries or restaurants here and most restaurants are very ex. Disappointed eating the chicken dishes here, all tough chicken breast.
